General Specifications
  • Designed, built and tested to meet American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) specifications
  • Vacuum/Perlite Insulation
  • Inner vessel material SA-612 normalized carbon steel
  • Outer vessel material ASTM A-36 structural grade carbon steel
  • Maximum Allowable Working Pressure (MAWP) 350 psig (2.413 Mpa)
  • Minimum Designed Metal Temperature (MDMT) -29.2°F (-34°C), or colder
  • Design pressure at least 10% above normal operating pressure
  • Designed for hurricane wind loads, and a wind speed of 110 mph (177 km/hr)
  • All stainless steel piping and ball valves. Stainless steel lifting lugs are standard on all horizontal units
  • Optional manway (cleaning and inspection) and vaporizers
  • Capped pressure building lines are standard
  • Optional capped refrigeration lines with internal coils
Note: All CO2 storage units are manufactured using normalized SA-612 carbon steel plate.
